Well as with any industry, I would say that the first step is to do some research on the biggest players within the space. Look in the news to see what types of deals/initiatives they are working on and that should give you a sense for the current trends in the industry. [permalink]Find out who is behind some for-profit promotions you're impressed with. Write them a fan letter, enclose a resume.
